WOCR Double Star T/M PCA sold in the Willow Oak bull sale in 2003 to the Double Star T/M Syndicate for $30,000 after he was Gene Star tested and confirmed homozygous for both tenderness and marbling. Talmo Ranch is a syndicate member. This is one of the first chances to purchase ”Double Star’s” progeny at auction as semen is not available on the open market. The dam of these pregnancies, 180V, is Gene Star tested as well. She is homozygous for tenderness possessing two stars and she has one star for marbling. Some say the future is in the stars.
